After honing her skills in classical French cuisine in her home
country of Israel, Maya embarked on a journey that would take
her to national cooking competitions, large convention centers,
and even television.

Settling in the picturesque Montezuma area of Costa Rica, she
made her name as a gifted chef, admired for her creativity and
understanding of flavors. Her restaurant, Puggo’s, has since
become an international success.
